1. Acceptance

By using StarKid, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If not, please refrain from using the service.

2. What StarKid Does

A family-focused tool to manage tasks and rewards via a star-based system. Features include account setup, task tracking, profile management, custom rewards, and performance history.

3. Eligibility & Account

• Must be 18+ to create an account; children under 13 must use StarKid under supervision.
• You're responsible for keeping your account secure, providing accurate details, and any activity on your account.

4. Proper Use Only

Use StarKid as intended. Prohibited uses include illegal activity, spreading malware, unauthorized system access, disrupting the service, abuse of automation, account sharing, or posting inappropriate content.

5. Content Ownership

You retain ownership of anything you upload (like names, tasks, avatars). You grant StarKid a limited license to process this content as needed to provide the service.

6. Privacy & Data Protection

StarKid's use of your data is governed by the Privacy Policy. Your use of the service implies consent to those practices.

7. Availability & Changes

While we aim for continuous uptime, occasional maintenance may occur. StarKid can modify or retire features, with advance notice for major changes.

8. Intellectual Property

All design, content, and visuals of StarKid are owned by StarKid. You receive a limited, non-transferable license to access StarKid for personal, family use only.

9. Termination

By You: You can end your account anytime.

By StarKid: Accounts may be suspended or terminated for violations, non-payment, misuse, or user request.

10. Disclaimer & Liability Limits

StarKid provides the service "as is" with no guarantees of perfection, results, or total security. We're not liable for indirect, incidental, or punitive damages arising from usage—within legal limits.

11. Indemnity

You agree to hold StarKid harmless against claims or damages arising from your use of the service or violation of these terms.

12. Updates to Terms

We may revise these Terms occasionally. The "Last Updated" date will change—and for significant updates, we'll provide email or in-app notice. Continued use confirms acceptance.

13. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by Canadian law. Disputes will be resolved through friendly negotiation, and if needed, arbitration or Canadian courts.

14. Severability

If any part is invalidated, the remainder stays in effect.

15. Complete Agreement

These Terms, along with the Privacy Policy, represent the complete agreement between you and StarKid.
